Miao Jiahui’s painting. (Qing Dynasty)

Miao Jiahui was a legendary Yunnan female painter in the late Qing Dynasty. Her paintings are soft, free, and elegant, and the dress designed according to her paintings is simple and fresh.

A golden hairpin with a ruby. (Ming Dynasty)

In March, appreciating cherry blossoms is the "spring offering" for Kunming people. The oil painting Cherry Blossom (1956), created by Liao Xinxue, the pioneer of Yunnan oil painting and Yunnan new art education, depicted this lively and beautiful scene.
