At the dawn of February 23, the golden sun crept upwards of the Ailao Mountain. The mist gradually cleared away, Lvchun rice terraces took on different colors, such as dark green and bright yellow, bringing vibrant energy in the early spring. What an amazing scenery as if the terraces were colour palettes overturned by God.

Looking down from the mountain, cascading terraces along the slope of the hills have covered the whole valley layer by layer. Rice terraces were filled with water reflecting silver lights like a mirror deep in the mountains. 

Spring represents hope and beginning. Diligent Hani people will soon get busy planting the seeds in the rice terraces fields.
