The 17th Kunming Maple Leaves Festival will last for a month starting from Nov. 1. This beautiful scenery of red maple leaves awaits you to come and see.

Due to the weather condition, maple leaves turned red later than usual this year in Red Maple Garden of Heilongtan Park, but they have more shades of red color. Red Maple Garden was established in 1997 to commemorate the return of Hong Kong to China with 1997 maple trees planted. At present, the whole Red Maple Garden has become an autumn tourist attraction with over 8,000 kinds of maple trees.

The autumn in Kunming is meant to be seen through eyes. By taking a stroll on Red Maple Garden, you can see the amazing forest covered by red leaves, the color that belongs to autumn. The garden attracts a great many visitors including some cos-players dressed in Chinese traditional costume. While some residents are using their mobile phones to capture this beautiful scenery, other photographers are taking out their cameras.
