Yunnan is rich in colors during the period of autumn to winter. There are white snow mountain, golden terrace, red maple leaves and blue sky... If you take a plane flying over Yunnan from north to south in this season, what color would you see?
White
Whatever the season is, snow mountains in northwest Yunnan are covered with snow all the year round.
Clouds enveloped the Meili Snow Mountain.
The scene called “Rizhaojinshan” in Meili Snow Mountain, golden sunshine falls down on the summit. Late autumn and early winter is the best season to view this famous scene.
Yulong Snow Mountain in Naxi language means silver mountain. 13 snow peaks twist and twine as if a giant dragon fly in the sky.
Red
Leaving these towering snow mountains behind and move south, your eyes will be covered by red leaves.
When it comes to red leaves, Shangri-La always comes to mind. So-called “red rain” in the virgin forest that located at the foot of Meili Snow Mountain.

Yellow
Keep heading south, you will see yellow leaves falling down to the ground and the earth is covered by yellow.
When autumn wind blows away the yellow ginkgo leaves, villages in Tengchong become a fairy tale world.
Chrysanthemums are blooming all over the mountainside in Longjiang township, Baoshan City.
Blue
Don’t forget to look up at the sky during your trip in Yunnan. Yunnan is famous for its blue sky, also, the color of lakes here should not be missed.

Green
When you reach south Yunnan, you will find that trees here still remain green even in winter.
There is only summer but no winter in Xishuangbanna. When autumn rain takes summer heat away, leaves only a bit cold of autumn.
Golden
Yunnan is colorful in early winter, but only golden yellow is the main tone of this land. Fields turn entirely golden when crops ripe in autumn, farmers enjoy bumper harvest happily.
