Over 7.39 million people in Myanmar had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Tuesday, according to a release from the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, over 6.08 million people had received the first jabs of COVID-19 vaccines as of Tuesday, the release said.
Myanmar reported 955 new COVID-19 cases with 16 more deaths on Wednesday.
The number of total COVID-19 cases has risen to 502,979 while its death toll has reached 18,744 as of Wednesday, the release said.
A total of 472,364 patients have been discharged from hospitals and over 4.93 million samples have been tested for COVID-19 so far.
Myanmar detected its first two COVID-19 cases on March 23 last year.
