This year's edition of China's annual cybersecurity publicity week will run from Oct. 11 to 17 nationwide, the Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission announced on Thursday.
Jointly launched by the office and other authorities, including the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the Ministry of Education, this year's event will focus on a secure cyberspace that serves and relies on the people.
In addition to the opening and closing ceremonies, this year's event will feature a cybersecurity-themed exhibition, online gala, cloud lecture and competition, among other events, according to the office.
This year's event also features sub-forums on cybersecurity for minors, artificial intelligence and smart cities, as well as expos held both on- and offline and multi-dimensional awareness-raising activities.
