On September 19, the “International Children’s Painting Competition Award and Selected Works Exhibition” kicked off in Yunnan Art Museum, aiming to arouse the awareness of public to protect animals and the nature as the World Animal Day is coming. The exhibition runs from September 19 to October 15.
300 children’s paintings selected for outstanding awards are included in the exhibition, 43 of which have won prizes in the UNESCO International Competition.
More than 100 students, teachers and the curator jointly completed a 100-meter painting on the theme of animal protection on the opening day. Yunnan Art Museum presented eco-friendly bags to each student and guest.
