Recently, Kunming takes the lead in Yunnan province in establishing statistical investigation system and implementation plan of statistical work of Kunming Area of China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone (Kunming Area of YNFTZ). 

Statistical investigation system and implementation plan of statistical work can objectively reflect the development of Pilot Free Trade Zones, providing quality statistics services for macroeconomic decision-makers, such as relevant departments of the state, provincial Party committees, provincial governments, municipal Party Committees and municipal governments. Therefore, the statistics working group of Kunming Area of YNFTZ initially formulated the system and implementation plan at the end of last year. 

On January 16 this year, Kunming Bureau of Statistics convened relevant departments to study and discuss statistical investigation system and implementation plan of statistical work submitted by Kunming Area of YNFTZ. Then, the bureau guided the management committee of Kunming Area of YNFTZ to improve the system and plan, further clarifying the responsibilities of each member unit, the scope of statistical objects, main statistical contents, statistical methods and submission time, etc. 

Three months later, the final modified statistical investigation system and implementation plan was sent to Kunming Bureau of Statistics and got approval, which marks that Kunming is the first to establish statistical investigation system in three Pilot Free Trade Zones in Yunnan.
