[InKunming--Kunming] International Science and Technology Cooperation Conference of BRICS Technology Transfer Center (Kunming) was held from September 1 to September 5. Foreign guests from Brazil, Russia, India participated in the conference, promoting technology cooperation between China and BRICS countries. 

During the conference, five agreements regarding technology and technology transfer were signed on the site, with a contract amount of over 5 billion yuan. Under one of the agreements, China, India, Thailand, Bangladesh will enhance technology exchange cooperation in future with mutually agreed legal framework.  

Some of the foreign guests from the BRICS countries invited for the conference also demonstrated their technology projects on the conference, letting more Kunming local enterprises’ entrepreneurs know their technology differences to the foreign projects. 

Meanwhile, a group of the foreign guests and some Chinese entrepreneurs attended classes of International Technology Transfer Training in Kunming during the conference, too. All of them believe that with the conference, Kunming will greatly develop its economy in following years, and having become an important bridge connecting international academic research institutions and industrial development.
