On August 31, 5 foreigners participated in A Bite of Yunnan Moon Cake event under the framework of Unveiling Yunnan, making moon cakes to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival. They went to the factory of Fancy Flowers to make Yunnan ham moon cakes, egg yolk & ham moon cakes, and flower cakes.The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional festival in China, and falls on the 15th day of the 8th month of Chinese Lunar Calendar. Chinese people celebrate by admiring the full moon and eating moon cakes.The round moon, as well as moon cake represents reunion in Chinese culture.
