[InKunming--Yunnan] "One Belt One Road & Colorful Yunnan" 2019 Mengzi International Marathon will kick off at Honghe Stadium on October 3. During National Day holiday, a host of interesting activities will be held and people can enjoy a great time there.

The marathon will start at 8:00 am on October 3, 2019, with a scale of 15,000 people to compete in four different races; the full marathon (3000 people), the half-marathon (3000 people), a 10 km run (2000 people) and mini-marathon (7000 people) events. At present, the race is still in the registration process. People can register on the official website based on their own situation.  

In addition to the marathon race, the 2nd Farmers' Harvest Festival, the 7th China Mengzi Crossing-the-bridge Rice Noodles and the 17th Mengzi Pomegranate Festival will be held in Mengzi City from September 29 to October 13.  

From October 1 to 7, visitors can not only try tasty crossing-the-bridge rice noodles, but also learn how to make crossing-the-bridge rice noodles on the spot, and then understand the national intangible cultural heritage - "Mengzi cross-bridge rice noodles" culture.

At the same time, experts and scholars in the field of pomegranate industry will be invited to discuss the better future of Mengzi pomegranate.
