Yunnan is the region with the richest plant resources in China and is known as the “Plant Kingdom” with more than half of the plant species within China. Different plants compose a variety of vegetation types. From the lowest elevation of 76 meters in the southeast to the highest of 6,740 meters, the difference in vegetation distribution is notable. Camellia, azalea, primrose and other flowers are numerous in Yunnan.
