China Railway Kunming Bureau Group announced that bullet trains called “Fuxing” were set out to operate between Dali and Lijiang since August 16, shortening running time to 2 hours and 8 minutes between the two places.  

It was said that the bullet trains were to shuttle between Dali and Lijiang two times a day after August 16, and could receive 1,440 passengers at a time. Anyone who has interest to travel in Dali or Lijiang could consider to buy tickets of the trains from the internet or via train station windows.

A principal of the China Railway Kunming Bureau Group told that passenger flows between Dali and Lijiang increased sharply when the students’ summer vacation began from July, reaching 3.545 million people until now, with a year-on-year increase by 16.2%.   

Some people said that they chose to travel in Dali or Lijiang merely due to the new operation of the “Fuxing” bullet trains. They pointed out they enjoyed a greater time on the bullet train.
