[InKunming--Yunnan] Yunnan’s Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, a place that mainly holds Yi people to live on in the province. They celebrated the Yi people’s Torch Festival in a grand way in the evening of July 25. 

Ethnic people dressed in beautiful ethnic clothes. They performed wonderful artistic shows at Yizhou Grand Theatre in the night of July 25 in Chuxiong prefecture, in a bid to celebrate the Torch Festival.

Although many places in Yunnan that gather Yi people held the festival in a similar way, Chuxiong might celebrate the festival in a grandest way in Yunnan. 

Songs sung at the night of July 25 at Yizhou theatre, and dances performed on the stage of the theatre in that evening, undoubtedly presenting Chuxiong people, especially the Yi people’s positive life philosophy and attitude. 

Visitors who would like to know more about the Yi people, the Torch Festival can go to Chuxiong to walk around and have a look, for the Torch Festival is still being celebrated in the prefecture in a cheerful atmosphere.
