[InKunming-Kunming] The 2019 South and Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair(SSACEIF) opened in the morning of June 12 in Kunming, Yunnan Province.

It is held from June 12 to 15 in Kunming, aiming for promoting stronger cooperation between Yunnan, China and South and Southeast Asian countries. 

On the same day, Sri Lanka, as the theme country of SSACEIF, launched its opening ceremony in the hall of Kunming Dianchi Exhibition Center.

An officer of Sri Lanka, from the Department of Development Strategy and International Trade of the country, gave a speech on the ceremony. 

He said: "Sri Lanka and China has long-term friendship. China supports Sri Lanka and imports lots of goods from Sri Lanka. Through the SSACEIF, Sri Lanka and China can connect closer. "

This year, exhibitors from Sri Lanka will display clothes, jewelry, tea and handmade wood products in the hall of the Kunming Dianchi Exhibition Center according to the Sri Lankan officer.
