[InKunming--Yunnan] Baoshan, a prefecture-level city of Yunnan province, is about to open flower street market on June 7. 

For Baoshan people, they have a tradition to shop in the flower street market every year since the market sells various flowers, medicines and other goods at a low price. 

In this year’s market, foods, which will be put in the street stands, not only limit to those cooked by local chefs, but also contain those from Vietnam, Myanmar and Thailand. 

People who enjoy appreciating flowers and loving to taste delicious foods had better not miss the opportunity to travel around the flower street. More interesting events such as song and dance performances of Yunnan’s ethnic people and Weiqi invitational tournament will be arranged at the mean time.

The market will be open to the public till June 16. Main venue of the flower street is set in Maohua Yiwu International Business and Trade Bazaar and its surrounding roads.

It is said that people at the spot on the opening day have chances to try a famous dish in the locality. Beef boiled in hot pot with special ingredients will be served to presenting guests. 

Event organizers noted that they would make the dish as large as they can to attract more travelers across the globe.
