[InKunming--Kunming] World Book and Copyright Day falls on April 23. Kunming municipal government organized a series of events at Nanping street in Kunming to celebrate the day, and to appeal to citizens for reading books actively. 

14 directors of Kunming’s libraries attended the celebration activity of the day. They suggested all citizens to read books as many as they can so that the citizens’ abilities to understand the world could be improved. 

On the site of the celebration activity, a tool that owns virtual reality (VR) technology was also exhibited for helping people to read. With the tool, readers could more easily get pleasant reading experience.

After the celebration activity finished, the 14 libraries that are located in different places of Kunming will continue holding consecutive activities. Famous experts’ lectures, thematic exhibitions, and parent-child reading sharing sessions are to be arranged in these libraries in succession in coming days.
