[InKunming--Yunnan] At 3 p.m., March 30, Hani History and Culture Museum, built for exhibiting Hani people’s terraced farming culture, was officially opened to the public. 

Hani people’s costumes, songs, and favored foods were also displayed in the museum. It is located at Hani Town, 45-kilometer-away from Yuanyang County of Yunnan Province. 

A principal of the museum said that the museum cost 3 years for construction, owning an appearance that imitates Hani people’s mascot, the silver pheasant bird.

Anyone who has interests in Hani people’s terraced farming culture, especially their terrace irrigation system, representing harmony and green ecology, is welcomed to the museum. 

It is noteworthy that the museum is charged for free at present, said by the principal.
