[InKunming--Yunnan] We Wear Culture, an event of 2019 China Fashion Week, was launched at a banquet hall of Beijing hotel on March 26. Models from Brazil and over 30 ethnic groups in Pu’er, including Hani, Lahu, Dai and Yi, dressed up in colorful ethnic customs walked on the runway.

This Pu’er ethnic clothing culture show took ethnic culture as creative source and was launched by local designer Zhang Kejia. Lahu girls wearing colorful clothing which embroidered with mysterious totem, let the audience experience Lancang Lahu ethnic history and culture. 

We Wear Culture is a series of public benefit show that pays tribute to the culture of multi-ethnic clothing. Since its debut in June 2018, this show have fully displayed the elegant demeanour and aesthetic concept of Yunnan ethnic minority clothing and apparel.
