[InKunming--Yunnan] Until 2018, Yunnan has established sister-city relations with 94 cities from 34 countries of 5 continents in the world, and enlarged its foreign friends circle, announced by Yunnan Foreign Affairs Office on March 4. 

In 2018, Yunnan’s sister-city work went smoothly. 15 European countries’ enterprise representatives were invited to attend the 5th South Asia Expo.

Heads of delegations from sister cities separately put forward their suggestions on friendly exchanges and cooperation with Yunnan in fields of agricultural technology training, tourism, education, medical research and so on during the South Asia Expo in 2018. 

In November, 2018, both Yunnan and its capital city Kunming won the 2016 and 2017 International Sister City Exchange and Cooperation Awards at China International Sister City Conference in China’s Wuhan city.

Kunming also successfully won the right to host 2020 China International Sister City Conference on the 2018 conference, which provides the city with more opportunities to develop well.
