[InKunming--Kunming] Kunming Bureau of Commerce and Investment Promotion released that foreign investment amount to Kunming in 2018 was increased by 6.09% year on year, utilizing 850 million U.S. dollars.

In 2018, the bureau approved 111 foreign investment enterprises to register in Kunming. Investors of these enterprises are from 23 countries and regions across the world. 

Among the foreign investment enterprises, 8 investors are from the Europe Union. Some other investors are respectively from Singapore, India, Poland and the other countries.

Director of the Kunming Bureau of Commerce and Investment Promotion referred that Kunming has become the best investment destination for countries along the One Belt and One Road in China’s central and western areas.

The bureau, together with Kunming municipal party committee and municipal government, will make new breakthroughs in transforming development mode of the city in the next step to create a new situation of utilizing foreign capital in the city.
