[InKunming--Yunnan] Yunnan's tourism economy hits a new high with 34.6406 million tourists during the Spring Festival holiday in 2019, reaching a 20.22% year-on-year growth, according to Yunnan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism. Tourism revenue reaches 24.173 billion yuan, up 25.29% year-on-year.

Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, Xishuangbanna, Pu'er, Baoshan and other cities of Yunnan have become popular destinations for people around China. Kunming, Honghe, and Yuxi are reported as the most popular destinations among which Kunming receives over 10 million tourists, and its tourism revenue reaches 6.442 billion yuan. 

Yunnan Nationalities Village, Jiuxiang, Golden Temple, Daguan Pavilion, and West Mountain Park received more than 100,000 tourists. Self-drive excursion and one-day tour around Kunming were chosen by most people.

According to incomplete statistics, more than 200 festival activities have been held in 16 cities of Yunnan, such as Yuxi Rice Noodle Festival, dragon and lion dances in Tengchong, and light show in Dali, providing tourists with a rich festive experience.
