[InKunming--Yunnan] Fellowship Conference of China-Myanmar Culture and Creativity Entrepreneurs under the "Belt and Road" initiative was held in Kunming on January 11th.More than 500 people from all walks of life, including government officials, entrepreneurs and artists from China and Myanmar, gathered to renew friendships.

The event was cosponsored by Consulate General of the Union of Myanmar in Kunming and Management Committee of the Kunming Economic Development Zone. It aims to strengthen traditional friendship and cooperation between the two countries, and enhance cultural interaction and exchanges between the people and enterprises of the two countries.

During the event, artistic performances which were staged by people from cultural and creative enterprises in Yunnan won rounds of applause. 

This event has provided Yunnan enterprises with a chance to understand Burmese policies about economy and culture, and making them actively participate in the construction of “Belt and Road” initiative and China-Myanmar Economic Corridor.

In recent years, Kunming Economic Development Zone has devoted itself to promoting the development of cultural and creative industries when developing industrial economy. Until now, it has held various influential international cultural events, such as French Contemporary Art Exhibition, Indian Film Weeks, Kunming International Art Week and so on. It helps promote the exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and foreign cultural enterprises and achieve a win-win situation.
