[InKunming--Yunnan] A new expressway connecting Liupanshui city and Weining county in Guizhou province opened to the traffic on January 3rd. The expressway greatly shortens travelling time from Liupanshui to Zhaotong city in Yunnan province from the previous five hours to two hours and the journey from Weining county to Zhaotong city from the previous 2.5 hours to 1 hour.

Liupanshui-Weining Expressway with a total length of 169.729 kilometers, is an important part of Duxiang Expressway (G7611). It starts from Laoyingshan Town, Liupanshui City, and ends at Zhongshui Town, Weining County.

Duxiang Expressway (G7611) , spanning Guizhou, Yunnan and Sichuan provinces, plays an important role in developing regional expressway network in China.

After Liupanshui-Weining Expressway opened to the traffic, people only needs to spend 4 hours from Zhaotong city in Yunnan province to Guiyang, the capital city of Guizhou province.
