[InKunming--Kunming] Two of Tchaikovsky’s ballet works Swan Lake and The Nutcracker are to be performed on the stage of Kunming Theatre respectively on January 5th and 6th, 2019.

Russian St. Petersburg Classical Ballet Troupe which was built in 1992 is responsible for the two ballet performances. The troupe had travelled in Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Canada and many other countries in past years. They also used to cooperate with several world-famous ballet dancers in a number of Russian theaters.

Stories of Swan Lake and the Nutcrackers are fairy tales full of romance and fantasy. When the stories are told to audience under the guidance of Tchaikovsky’s classic music, they become more attractive and impressive.

A principal of the St. Petersburg Classical Ballet Troupe said that they wish to revive Russian spirits through their performances, and urge audience to find the true, the good and the beautiful things from their normal life.
