[InKunming--Yunnan] A big black truffle weighing 1,250 grams was unveiled in Yunnan shuimihua wild mushroom trading market. The vendor spent more than 20,000 yuan to buy this huge black truffle. It is dozens of times larger than usual truffles, and also the largest and heaviest wild black truffle in Yunnan this year. 

According to the vendor who has 10-year experience of running truffle business, there was once a 800g truffle auctioned for 200,000 yuan. If the super 1,250g truffle are auctioned on the market, the value will be higher because of its rareness.

Black truffles are also called “Kuai Jun” in Yunnan. The larger the size, the more valuable and rare the truffles are. In the international food industry, black truffles are recognized as the top ingredients. Yunnan is the main producing area of black truffle in China. And these wild truffles will be sold to domestic cities of China and overseas markets.
