[InKunming--Sister Cities] On November 23, entrepreneurs from Lancang-Mekong area respectively introduced key projects of their countries on Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Entrepreneurs Conference in Kunming.
Chen Weiwen, an entrepreneur from Thailand, introduced Udon Thani Economic Zone to all attendees on the day. The Udon Thani Economic Zone, located in the northeast part of Thailand, enjoying full support of Thai government, will provide preferential policies and taxes to all investors from the Lancang-Mekong area.
An entrepreneur from Laos introduced Lao Borofin Plateau Economic Zone on the conference. He said that the zone owns similar situations as Yunnan Province, very suitable for Chinese especially Yunnan’s entrepreneurs to invest in.
Two entrepreneurs from Myanmar separately introduced “Myanmar-China Economic Corridor” and “Myanmar’s Qingshui River -Kunlong Special Economic Zone”.
Cambodia’s Manhattan Special Economic Zone and China’s Kunming LMC International Activity Garden were also introduced by Cambodia’s and China’s representatives on the conference.
The conference was co-hosted by Yunnan Branch of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and China’s Kunming Institute of International Logistics of South and Southeast Asia. Liu Jinxin, head of the institute, hosted the conference.
