Lijiang shines at China International Travel Mart

[InKunming--Yunnan] The 2018 China International Travel Mart (CITM) kicked off at Shanghai New International Expo Center on Nov 16, attracting a total of 107 countries and regions.

During CITM, Lijiang exchanged and studied with global tourism counterparts and travel agents, learning about the demand for Lijiang tourism resources and line products in Shanghai and surrounding tourism industries.

Lijiang Yulong Snow Mountain Scenic Area also held the Yulong Snow Mountain Tourism Product Promotion Conference in Shanghai.

In order to provide a window for guests at home and abroad to get to know the area, Lijiang showed off a tourism publicity film and a Dongba master's live writing, showcasing the new routes, new products and new formats of Lijiang tourism.

After more than 20 years of cultivation and development, Lijiang tourism has continuously developed, and the tourism economic indicators have continued to grow rapidly.

The scale of the industry has grown steadily, covering the elements of eating, living, traveling, purchasing and entertainment.

At present, Yunnan province is accelerating the transformation and upgrading of tourism, focusing on four aspects: tourism destinations, tourism products, tourism public infrastructure and management services.

Lijiang has completed the evaluation of the integrity of 2,253 accommodation units, 2,352 catering units, 137 travel agencies, 71 boutique tourist routes, 33 commodity companies, 10 tourist charter companies and six rental car companies.

In addition, relying on the mobile travel app "E-travel in Yunnan", Lijiang has established a city and county level comprehensive tourism command and dispatch center consisting of 288 people from 19 departments, ensuring complaints are addressed within 24 hours.
