[InKunming--Yunnan] Louis Cha Leung-yung, the world’s most popular Chinese novel writer, who also used the pseudonym Jin Yong, passed away on October 30, aged 94.
There are various ways to bid farewell to Jin Yong. Huge snowflakes were pouring down on Cangshan in Dali. Some people explained that even Cangshan was too sad to accept the news.
From The Legend of the Condor Heroes to Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils, many characters existing in Jin Young’s works have been deeply recognized by the living. Among them, the story of Duan Yu has been arranged to happen in Dali, Yunnan. Moreover, Dali Ancient Town, Tianlong Temple, camellia, Bai nationality girls were also appeared.
In fact, Jin Yong himself once said, "I wrote about Dali when I have never been. Perhaps I enjoyed my previous life there."
