[InKunming--Kunming] Kunming Municipal Tourism Commission, on behalf of Kunming government, announced Civilized Travel Proposal on September 27, which is the World Tourism Day.

To let more people know the proposal, Kunming Municipal Tourism Commission organized a propaganda campaign at Changshui international airport.

According to the proposal, travellers are demanded to travel in Kunming in a polite and honest way. 

Yang Jun, director of Kunming Municipal Tourism Commission, said: “The World Tourism Day is really a good day for us to display our proposal. Taking the chance, we wish to tell all travellers that Kunming, as a popular tourist city, has responsibilities to guide tourism enterprises to upgrade service level and quality. At least the municipal government paid attention to this part. So we held such a event.”  

Kunming government is now striving to make the city become an international tourist destination, building a completely civilized tourism environment here. 

During the campaign, a declaration named Kunming Quality Assurance Travel Declaration was also published on the day by Kunming Municipal Tourism Commission.
