[InKunming--Yunnan] Now in Yunnan, the season for black truffles comes. At Yunnan Shuimuhua Wild Mushroom Market in Kunming, some truffle sellers are busy for packaging black truffles on September 5.

“I always send over 200 truffle packages to Guangzhou, Shanghai and other big cities of China in these days,” a truffle seller told InKunming journalist. 

Yunnan is a suitable place for wild mushrooms growing. When tricholoma matsutake is out of season, black truffles are in season, appearing on the market. 

Not only in Kunming, but also in Dali, Qujing, Nujiang, and Baoshan, black truffles are also being sold in the market. It costs about 300 to 500 yuan per kilogram for the black truffles on the market. 

Yunnan has become main production area of truffles in China, accounting for 70% of total production output all over the country. [Provided to InKunming] 

High-quality truffles could be sold at 600 to 800 yuan per kilogram on the market. Good sales of the truffles boost the sellings of express businesses in the mean time.

Relative data showed that daily trading volumes of the black truffles are about 3 tons nowadays. Till now, Yunnan has become main production area of truffles in China, accounting for 70% of total production output all over the country.
