Lancang-Mekong Youth Leaders Cultural Experience Camp opened in Kunming

[InKunming--Sister Cities] Lancang-Mekong Youth Leaders Cultural Experience Camp, launched an opening ceremony yesterday (September 3), would provide a platform for 120 young people to experience Yunnan culture in Kunming. 

The 120 young people, who are respectively from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam and China, will join Lancang-Mekong Countries’ Common Destiny Community Forum, Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lecture, Friendly Exchange Session and other events in Kunming.   

All young people will spend 10 days in Kunming, to know each representative’s country situation more specifically and their country’s cultural resources advantages more vividly through mutual contacts and exchange, promoting exchange and cooperation among Lancang-Mekong countries. 

All China Youth Federation and Yunnan Youth Federation together initiated the camp. Zhou Huaijun, the leader of Chinese Youth Team, said: “Wish the camp could offer opportunities for Lancang-Mekong countries’ youths to communicate, and to encourage them to exhibit vigour and form cooperation consensus. “
