[InKunming--Yunnan] Located in Guangnan county of Yunnan’s Wenshan, the Heye village is always praised for its beautiful landscape. Recently, there are kinds of “animals showing up” in the village -- each tree was painted with snakes, mice, owls, squirrels and other animals. The houses were painted in red, green, blue and yellow.
It is said that all the painting those cute pictures aims to make the place more beautiful and attractive. From September 19 to October 7, the 2018 World Rice Culture and Tourism festival will kick off in this village.
According to the leader of the creation team, most of these paintings are based on local features, for instance, drawing a crocodile on a tree is because a piece of bark is missing. Only half of the works were created now, and visitors can admire the beautiful painted village when the rice festival opens in September.
