[InKunming--Kunming] On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening up, the Kunming-Nanchang Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition, which is jointly held by Kunming Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Nanchang Federation of Literary and Art Circle, was launched on August 14th at Yunnan Military Academy. It will last until August 20, and will provide citizens with a chance to enjoy 100 calligraphy and painting works for free.

“The spring city Kunming and the hero city Nanchang are famous national historical and cultural cities,” Zhang Xiaoming, the secretary of the party group of the Kunming Federation of Literary and Art Circles, gave a speech and introduced. Kunming is the capital of the ancient Yunnan, with beautiful scenery, unique ethnic customs and remarkable achievements in literature and art. Meanwhile, Nanchang is also a city that plays a key role in history with its outstanding people and thriving cultural industries. 

Elites from the two cities taking part in the exhibition together will promote the prosperity and development of their art undertakings. The 100 exhibited works, being rich in content and color, will depict the longing and confidence of the two cities for a better future.
