[InKunming--Yunnan]  Walking into Yunnan Mushuihua Wild Mushroom Trading Center, people could smell strong scent of tricholoma matsutake as almost all the stalls sell it.

"We never thought that we could purchase tricholoma matsutake with such a low price. In the past, tricholoma matsutake was very expensive and always exported to Japan." Mr. Wu, who bought 2 kilograms of fresh tricholoma matsutake in the market, said excitedly.

Yields of tricholoma matsutake this year are more than that in previous years. August is the peak season for tricholoma matsutake. As a result, the price of tricholoma matsutake is going down and people could enjoy it without paying much more money, according to a vendor.

Cheng Aili, the deputy general manager of Mushuihua Wild Mushroom Trading Center, pointed out that daily trading volume of tricholoma matsutake has reached 5 tons.

Anyone who wants to buy some mushrooms could look at this price list first.

Tricholoma matsutake is sold at 70 to 350 yuan per kilogram.

Boletus is sold at 260 to 300 yuan per kg.

Cantharellus cibarius Fr. is sold at 50 to 120 yuan per kg.

Russula virescens is sold at 120 yuan per kg.
