[InKunming--Yunnan]  Kunming-Guangtong-Dali Railway is in the last stage of trial operation, the railway department said, they are debugging it according to train diagram during the trail run period. 

It is estimated that this railway line is about to be formally put into operation next month. People could travel between Kunming and Dali within 2 hours at that time.

At present, there is a pair of trains and 4 pairs of bullet trains running about 16 round trips between Kunming and Dali each day.

There will be 29.5 pairs of bullet trains daily, and two more pairs added on weekends linking Kunming with Dali when the trial run is perfectly finished.

If someone misses the first train, then he could wait about 25 minutes, or sometimes just 11 minutes. Travel time between the two cities will be greatly shortened from 6 hours to 112 minutes.

In fact, Kunming-Guangtong-Dali Railway is an important part of China-Myanmar International Railway and Yunnan-Tibet Railway. It connects national railway network through Kunming Railway Station and Kunming South Railway Station in the east, and connects with Darui Railway, Dalin Railway and Dali Railway in the west. Target speed of the railway line is 200 kilometers per hour.
