[InKunming--Kunming] Kunming has taken measures to improve the overall appearance of the city for the upcoming 5th China-South Asia Expo and the 25th China Kunming Import and Export Fair. For instance, beautifying and standardizing ongoing projects, sweeping and cleaning roads and so on.

According to the plan of preparatory work, all relevant departments of Kunming have made working scheme. For example, Urban Management Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau of Guandu District made efforts to clean the main streets around Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Center. By the end of May 30th, 7,458 roads and 5,162-kilometer-long traffic barrier were washed.

At the same time, the government has taken steps to standardize all the outdoor  advertising boards. It is said that 1,097 outdoor advertising boards have been removed, and 1,059 pieces of labels have been cleaned up according to the statistics.

On the other hand, the related department continues to standardize the transportation of construction wastes in case of seeing the phenomenon of dropping, leaking and splashing construction wastes.

Besides, Xiaba River and Xiaoqing River adjacent to Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Center not only play an important role to show the image of Kunming towards the outsides, but also are the infrastructure of flood control and drainage work. Hence, Water Authority of Guandu District hired a company to maintain the daily cleaning of the river,
