[InKunming--Kunming]  The 5th China-South Asia Expo and 25th China Kunming Import and Export Fair will be held simultaneously this year from June 14 to 20. Nearly 30 agricultural enterprises are about to attend the Expo so as to expand more international markets and enhance international competitiveness simultaneously.

There will be 19 pavilions of 8,500 exhibition stands including Opening Ceremony Pavilion, Asian Pavilion, South Asian Pavilion, Agricultural Pavilion etc. It has been estimated that more than 80 countries’ and regions’ exhibitors will participate in the expo, which covers an area of 190,000 square meters. Meanwhile, China-South Asia Business Forum, China-Southeast Asia Business Forum and a series of activities will be held then.

In order to make more people know about new achievements of modern agricultural enterprises in Kunming with plateau characteristics, Kunming Municipal Agricultural Bureau encouraged local agricultural enterprises to take part in the expo. “There are more than 50 enterprises registering in the exhibition for the Expo. Among them, we selected 30 distinctive enterprises to take part in the expo.”said Ma Yunhui, the director of market information department of the Kunming Municipal Agriculture Bureau.

All the agricultural enterprises will present goods on the No.2 Agricultural Pavilion covering 312 square meters. Under the theme of "Industrial Integration &Green Development", a new image of Kunming agriculture industry will be shown. Visitors could taste various foods with plateau characteristics, like Dianchi fish, “black garlic” and “goat yogurt”,according to Ma Yunhui.

At present, Kunming Municipal Agriculture Bureau is working with relevant exhibitors to get preparatory works done well.
