[InKunming--Kunming] On the morning of May 30th, Kunming Municipal Public Security Bureau held a new round of patrolling and controlling service to gear up for the 5th China-South Asia Expo. Over 2,000 people of traffic police, patrolling police, public security police and other police gathered together to participate in the actual combat practice.

The atmosphere of the spot was pretty solemn and serious. 13 squads walked on parade while 99 special vehicles and 2 helicopters were displayed in teams over the rehearsal site. They carried out 8 practicing subjects including shooting of sniper rifle precision, the emergency disposal of car accident and so on.

In accordance with the overall requirements of the security work in the 5th China-South Asia Expo, Kunming Municipal Public Security Bureau simultaneously start a new round of patrolling and controlling service. In details, 200 civilian police are requested to work in the front line. 600 auxiliary police are recruited. A professional patrolling team come into being with 2 armed units(PTU), 15 police vehicles, 50 mobile patrolling cars and 80 mounted police. 

During the 5th China-South Asia Expo, the Kunming Public Security Bureau will take measures to guarantee the security of Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Center, and build up a public security circle in the main city as well. It is said that many high-tech means will be applied on the spot, such as face recognition, intelligent safeguard system and a host of things.
