2018 Agricultural Bank of China Kunming Plateau Half Marathon will kick off on April 14th. Currently, about 15,000 people have registered to attend the half marathon which consists of three events, a half marathon of 21.1 km, a mini marathon of 10 km, and a parent-child run.

It is said that track measurement has been completed. There are some adjustments about the half marathon track while the others remain the same as before. The half marathon route changes as following. Starting from the new Yunnan Museum and Yunnan Grand Theatre, the route will go through Guangfu Road, Yunxiu Road, East ring Road, Tuofeng Street, Caiyun South Road, Chaoyun Street, Hexie Road, Luozhou Street and Kunming Hall.

At the same time, medals and costumes were also released. The medal is designed with elegant orchids, symbolizing the spirit of brave runners while the orange costume means vitality and enthusiasm of marathon running.

In order to ensure safety, the organizing committee will set up 14 medical sites along with the race, and will offer 18 ambulances and 52 AED in case of accidents. What’s more, the organizing committee also provides runners with considerate services. For instance, runners can have a good time at some certain scenic spots and take bus or metro for free. There will be 24 cultural display points and cheer-leading points as well.

Besides, Kunming Plateau Half Marathon Exposition is held at Kunming Minicipal Stadium from April 11th to 13th. Runners can get the participating belongings at the stadium with original identity card from 10:00 to 18:00 (10:00-20:30 for April 12th and 13th).
