[InKunming--Kunming] Kunming is reputed as “Spring City” with an abundance of flower varieties and cozy weather all year round. Recently, cherry trees with profuse blossom stand in streets and lanes in Kunming, making people find a sense of happiness of living here. Bathing in the spring wind, people can walk outside and soak up in the atmosphere of cherry blossoms. Here are several places to appreciate the beauty of cherry blossoms.

Chuanjin Road:

If you are free to walk around, Chuanjin Road would be a good choice as miles of cherry trees lining in the road and greeting people with its lovely buds. People can linger around to Jindian Park. Although it is one of the newest roads decorating with cherry trees, it still presents an amazing view.

Yuantong Street

When it comes to the admiring spot of cherry blossoms , Yuantong Street springs to local citizens’ mind firstly as it is the earliest place to plant cherry trees. Citizens and tourists flock up here to smell the spring in the air in March every year.

Fengyuan Road

If you are tired of staying in a crowd to enjoy beautiful cherry blossoms, it is a better option to go to Fengyuan Road in the north of Kunming City. In addition to admiring a sea of pink cherry blossoms, people can practice meditation in that of quiet environment.

In a nutshell, people can not only see cherry blossoms in the main city, but also in surrounding areas like Chenggong where is famous for its pear blossoms. Of course, students in universities can admire cherry blossoms when they get out from their dormitory.
