[InKunming--Yunnan] A large grove of peach trees bloom abundantly in Tuguan town of Lufeng county, Chuxiong Yi autonomous prefecture in Yunnan . From March 10th to 12th, the ninth “Peach Culture Festival” was held in this “paradise”, attracting more than 20,000 tourists to hike and admire these peach blossoms.

There has been eight times of Peach Culture Festival in Lufeng since 2005, which has gradually became a well-known rural tourism brand. This year, two more venues were set in Wulongtan village and Yuwanshui village. Visitors from Kunming or other cities were able to enjoy blooming peach trees and taste local food. In addition, they can play the Lusheng (a reed-pipe wind instrument), join a bonfire party, watch bullfighting activities, and dance Miao traditional style with Miao people.

Under the theme of “the land of Peach blossom beauty”, Tuguan town developed a rural ecological cultural tourism industry, creating tourism pattern which encourages visitors come to enjoy the peach blossom in March and April, and eat peach from March to October. In 2017, a total of 45,000 tourists achieved a substantial revenue of over 40 million yuan. The whole town will continue to grow peach trees and improve ecological agriculture.
