[InKunming--Kunming] Kunming witnesses beautiful sunshine with the maximum temperature rising to 10 degrees Celsius from today (December 20th) according to the latest weather forecast. However,the sunny days here in autumn and winter usually mean huge temperature differences between day and night. The differences in Kunming will be likely to reach 14 degrees Celsius in next 3 days.

“triggered by radiative cooling at night, temperature has increasingly dropped overnight in Kunming.” Guo Rongfen, a staff from Provincial Meteorological Administration said. Regardless of how low the temperature showed in other meteorological applications, there was no below 0 degrees Celsius record in our department before. Moreover, the minimum temperature may be below 0 degrees Celsius in the following days.

In addition to Kunming, there will also be sunny days in other cities of Yunnan today and tomorrow.

Provincial Meteorological Administration issued a frost Yellow Weather Warning alert yesterday. The minimum temperature would below 0 degrees Celsius in many cities, such as Chuxiong, Yuxi, Zhaotong, Qujing, Wenshan and Honghe from 0:00am to 7:00am on December 20th. The weather is about to plunge to minus 4 degrees Celsius tomorrow in parts of Yunnan.
