[InKunming--Kunming] As one of the most anticipated events in winter, the 22nd Plum Blossom Festival will be held from December 27th to February 28th the next year. In order to make the festival a huge success, Black Dragon Pool Park (also called Heilongtan Park) held an investment promotion conference where merchants and media gathered to submit constructive suggestions.

Black Dragon Pool Park, covering an area of 520 acres, plants a large number of plum blossoms. The annual Plum Blossom Festival has become a flower name card of Kunming. The park had hosted National Exhibition of Wintersweets for three times, receiving rave reviews.

Black Dragon Pool Park intends to build six picturesque landscapes under the theme of “Good Luck Chinese New Year”. Plum blossoms will be the leading flower in the festival while other flowers being arranged to offer tourists a stunning scenery. Meanwhile, sorts of wonderful events will be held, including intangible cultural heritage exhibition, boutique bonsai exhibition, poetry recitation contest, "Mei School" of Peking Opera and so forth.

Plum Blossom Festival is the most celebrated festival at Black Dragon Pool Park with about 600,000 tourists visiting every year, according to Chen Yue, the director of the park. “With the approaching of the 22nd Plum Blossom Festival, the park plans to integrate the business and media through the advantages of plum blossom cultural resources.” he pointed out that businessmen and media representatives have contributed many valuable suggestions for the upcoming festival.
