[InKunming--Kunming] The first photographic competition themed on "Sailing above Dianchi Lake & the most beautiful fishing season" kicked off in the morning of November 8th. 30 photographers riding a speedboat took a journey starting from Western Hills (also named Xishan) to capture picturesque landscapes.

The photographic competition was jointly organized by Dianchi Administration Bureau of Kunming, Yunnan Protection Foundation of Dianchi and Kunming Newspaper Media Group. It was officially launched on September 30th. So far hundreds of works have been received. All the works mainly focus on presenting the achievements of Dianchi governance and reflecting the lifestyle of fish-men.

The organisers announced live shooting activity on November 3rd. It is said that more than 60 citizens have signed up to participate in it. There are some professional and amateur photographers as well.

It is the 6th year of Dianchi Lake to be opened for fishing, and it is the 2nd time to catch fishes in two stages since 2012. The people from Dianchi Administration Bureau of Kunming said:"It it not only a trade chance about seafood when it comes to the opening season, but also a big event for those who love admiring spectacular scenery. Meanwhile, a number of tourists and photographers are attracted here to take pictures which shows the beautiful scenery and ecological value of Dianchi Lake. In this way can it call for more people to pay attention to environmental protection, creating a good atmosphere for the governance of Dianchi."

Citizens riding a speedboat were travelling around the Dianchi Lake. Hundreds of black-headed gulls were flying around the speedboat at 10 a.m. yesterday. All the creatures have made a magnificent landscape. Photography enthusiasts raised up cameras or mobile phones to record the scene. After they posted pictures on moments, lots of people were impressed by the scenery.

Speaking of the awards, there are totally 82 awards including two golden awards (5,000 yuan). If you are interested in the competition, you can send your original works to the E-mail box zmkhj2017@163.com before November 30th. One thing needed to be noticed is that participants are supposed to write full important information, such as name, telephone number and theme.
