[InKunming--Kunming]  Kunming Railway Station is planning to run bullet trains. Passengers are able to take bullet trains from the main city of Kunming to Chenggong County and Yuxi City since September 4th. Citizens can buy tickets on the official 12306 website right now.

Kunming Railway Station

The distance between Kunming South Railway Station and Kunming Railway Station is more than 20 kilometers. At present, passengers in main city have to take s journey to Kunming South Railway Station. The opening of above bullet train will greatly shorten the time consuming on the way.

Journalist has already found the information about the bullet trains scheduled on September 4th on the official websites of 12306, Ctrip and Qunar.

Kunming High-speed Railway Station (Kunming Nan Station)

The bullet trains starting from Kunming Railway Station to Kunming South Railway Station depart at 9:25, 17:30, 20:18 and 21:30. The prices for no-seat, second-class seat, first-class seat and business seat respectively are 8 rmb, 8rmb, 13rmb and 25rmb.

The departure time of bullet trains to Yuxi City is 9:25 and 17:30. It costs about 56 minutes to Yuxi City. The prices for no-seat, second-class seat, first-class seat and business seat respectively are 48 rmb, 48rmb, 76rmb and 144rmb.

Generally speaking, it takes people about one hour and a quarter from Kunming to Yuxi by taking the ordinary train. The price is 16.5 rmb for each person. It could save 20 minutes if citizens in Kunming choose to take the bullet train.

Besides, there is no bullet train from Kunming Railway Station to Shanghai and Guilin on September 4th and 5th. Kunming Railway Bureau will issue specific information in the following days.
