[InKunming--Kunming]  Nineteen international sister-cities from America, France, Russia and other countries will jointly set up International Sister-Cities Pavilion and the Night of Sister-Cities reception. In this way can sister cities increase exchanges and strengthen cooperation with Kunming, according to the news released by the executive committee of 2017 South and Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair(SSACEIF).

At present, Yunnan Province has 75 pairs of international sister cities. In order to strengthen bilateral exchanges and cooperation in economic, technological and cultural fields, 19 countries from Asia, Europe, America, Oceania plan to set up International Sister-Cities Pavilion. In details, 8 countries will set up special commodity pavilions while 11 countries will hold 88 booths for enterprises.

Besides exhibition, an event named “The Night of Sister-Cities”, and other activities held in Kunming will introduce sister cities’ economical and cultural knowledge. At the same time, foreigners could know about Chinese culture and Yunnan features by attending the exhibition.

The preparatory work of holding International Sister-Cities Pavilion is under the way. Both Chinese staff and delegations of sister cities will work together to make International Sister-Cities Pavilion an awesome one.
