Volunteers are participating in team work.

[InKunming--Kunming]  2017 South and Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair (SSACEIF) is around the corner. Some of volunteers have already began preparatory work these days, including certificates registration, vehicle information recording, meeting arrangement, etc.

As a volunteer, Qi Feng just finished recording the data. He started serving for the SSACEIF from the last days of May. “Although I feel exhausted everyday, I am pretty satisfied when I think about making efforts to SSACEIF. I will try my best to provide services for visitors in the next following days.” He said.

“It is my great honor to be a volunteer in SSACEIF. I would do it again next year if I have time then.” Zhou Qiao who is in charge of the certificates registration said. Zhou Qiao is a senior student of Yunnan University of Finance and Economics. She was engaged in volunteer work for the 4th China-South Asia Expo.

The training of Volunteers.

The Volunteer Department of Executive Committee has invited professional instructors to train volunteers. In this way can volunteer master skills of team work, etiquette, emergency knowledge.

Zhou Qiao is one of the backbones among all the volunteers. She is responsible for coordinating with others to deal with meals, transportation, medical security and a host of issues. But she claimed that she learned a lot in the process of training and practicing.

It is said about 2,500 volunteers will work together to serve for SSACEIF, including 108 international volunteers and 65 backbones. They will be in charge of providing people with useful information like guidelines for inquiries, order maintenance, translation and communications, emergency support, cultural dissemination, exhibition statistics and other work.
