[InKunming--Yunnan]  The first Cherry Blossom Festival of Fuxian Lake will officially commence at Shijia Village, east ring road on April 15th. 56 varieties of gorgeous blossoming cherry dance with the spring wind so that people could enjoy the amazing landscape when walking around.

The Cherry Blossom Festival is jointly organized by the Yunnan Wanjiahong Horticultural Co. Ltd. and groups from Shijia Village. The former actively involved in the project of building a better environment in Fuxian Lake and planting tens of thousands of cherries there.

At present, cherry garden ushers its best time as nearly 50,000 cherries of different colors blossom in the air of spring. This festival will last until May 10th. During the festival, a series of wonderful activities will be designed for fun, such as, artistic performances, fireworks show, food competition, phone photography competition and the like.

"The construction of the 500 acres cherry garden utterly changed the traditional planting mode of local farmers. In order to reduce the pollution of Fuxian lake, working staff never used pesticides and fertilizers. The Cherry Blossom Festival aims to show the achievements of building a 'green' lake. Meanwhile, the festival tries to attract more and more people to travel here to promote the development of local tourism and economy." Wang Yunfu said.

It is understood that the enterprise owns 2200 acres production base of plants. Its products always sales to other parts of China or exports to Southeast Asian countries as well.
