[InKunming--Kunming]  On February 24, trains of three "Spring City" high speed railway lines departed from Kunming for the first time and headed to Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou respectively.

Numbers of the train lines are G1376/1(Kunming South Station-Shanghai Hong Qiao Station), G406/5(Kunming South Station-Beijing West Station), and D3820/17(Kunming South Station-Guangzhou South Station).

Three train lines named "Spring City" were set to serve tourists in China and from abroad. On the train lines, tourists could enjoy and appreciate diverse features of Kunming City and Yunnan Province.

Pictures showing scenic spots such as Stone Forest, Jiaozi Snow Mountain, Daguanlou Park, and delicacies like mutton soup pot, diary cake, buckwheat baba were hung on walls of train cabins.

Meanwhile, attendants on the three train lines wear ethnic minorities’ clothes to domonstrate Kunming and Yunnan's ethnic cultures.

Meng Qinghong, deputy mayor of Kunming City, said:"High-Speed-Railway train lines named ‘Spring City’build bridges for communication between Kunming people and tourists at home and abroad. In the following of increase of the train lines, number of tourists travelling in Kunming and Yunnan will grow."

In the coming period, tourists with tickets of the High-Speed-Railway train lines could enjoy discounts when going to local parks, restaurants, hotels and shopping malls in Kunming.
